Child support in the context of children with disabilities creates unique considerations for lawyers. Base (section 3) child support and extraordinary (section 7) expenses may differ in these circumstances. The first part of this webinar examines base child support in the context of children with disabilities, with topics including judicial treatment of adult child support applications involving children with disabilities, arguments lawyers should make in such applications, and what applicants need to prove. The second part of this webinar explores common and potential claims for extraordinary expenses in the context of children with disabilities.
